Music used in my pitch
ADDED TO PITCH-
I picked my characters as these people as i feel as though they have the ability to get really involved in the roles they are playing and make the characters seem as realistic as possible. This is important for my radio drama to make it not look naff and cheesy. I want the characters to be as professional as possibly and i feel as though the four characters i choose have the ability to do so.
I need the actors to change their speech and how they present their words to make the audience feel as though it is relating to the original Alice in Wonderland. This is so that the audience can relate back to their childhood, and remember the characters. That is why i picked Victoria, Oskar, Milly and Shane for my characters as they will do a really good job, and get themselves really involved in the role they are playing.
Another reason for them to play this part is that they are all around the right age range, i made it so Alice is 18 in the production and Victoria is 19. She has a very soft voice which would make it easier for the audience to hear and understand her. Milly is also 19 which mixes well with the character profile as it means that she can involve that jealous side that most teenager girls would have. I want to make Velvits friends to be around the same age too, and i want the audience to relate to what is taking place by them going out to a club and having a nice time in a group, where as if i had older women doing this it wouldnt have the same affect. The two main male characters i feel as though are suitable and are a good pick as their voices are very different to eachother, which means that the audience are able to see the difference between the two are engage with the characters that Shane and Oskar are playing, they both have strong personalities and are both very out going which would be able to tell this through their voices.
